Flog You! A look at hoax writings

Do you know if you are talking to a dog? Much of which is passed along or used to support a cause or idea. But honestly, how much of it do we really know as real?  As I delved into this topic, I found a lot of information on the evolution of the fake or false blog, also known as the flog. I looked at many opinions, and even the effects of similar false writings in old media sources. Other than notoriety and the identification of the fraudulent writing, not is being done to either prevent it or to punish those who have committed the ethical faux pas. It was interesting to me that regardless of validity, there is little support for the discounting of this new media (by the public) for credible information sources. In academia however, there is little support for blogging as a reliable writing source, yet people keep reading and writing…
